Folusoomosebi Care Foundation has generously donated the sum of fifty thousand naira to Mrs Ojo Olayemi, the mother of Ojo Favour, a Primary 2 pupil, to assist in paying her school fees at the Physically Challenged School in Ido-Ekiti.
This initiative is part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable children and ensuring access to quality education.
In a related outreach, Mrs Laide Gold led a team from the foundation to GEC International School, Mosan, Ipaja, Lagos State, where they distributed sanitary towels to female students aged between 10 and 14 years. In addition to the distribution, the team educated the students on puberty, menstrual hygiene, and the importance of maintaining cleanliness during their menstrual cycle.
The school’s principal, Mr Shokenu, warmly welcomed the Folusoomosebi Care Foundation team and assigned Mrs Bejide, a teacher, to serve as their guide. The foundation’s representatives were introduced to the female students, after which they conducted an enlightening session on menstrual hygiene and personal care.
Speaking on behalf of the foundation, the CEO, Mrs Foluso Omosebi, reaffirmed the organisation’s dedication to uplifting the less privileged in society. She emphasised that the foundation remains steadfast in its mission to support those in need and will continue to implement initiatives that improve lives.
