Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu witnessed the Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between LASG - Lagos State Project Implementation and Monitoring Unit (PIMU) and Project Management Institute (PMI) USA.

The Project Implementation and Monitoring Unit (PIMU) aims to improve quality of projects done in the State, by creating a good mechanism for the public to monitor and engage Government on projects being executed, and to deliver more projects within budget, scope and time.

This MoU is designed to achieve: 

1. Free Workshop Trainings (for Political Heads & Civil Servants) of 45 Project Executing Ministries, Departments & Agencies of Lagos State. 

2. Annual Training & Certification programs for up to 500 Civil Servants at discounted rates, courses like: 

⁃Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

⁃PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP) Certification.

⁃Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification.
