On behalf of the Visionary President of Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide, YCYW Aare Olori Ọdọ Oodua and the entire leadership and members of our noble council, we send our heartfelt condolences to the Oyo State government and all sons and daughters (Omoluabis) of the ancient Ogbomoso Kingdom over the demise of His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oladuni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III.
It is indeed very saddening to hear the news of the demise of kabiesi who has gone to join his ancestors.
The late Soun is an highly revered and respected monarch whom during his lifetime was an epitome of genuine royalty and preacher of peace, justice and tranquility amongst his subjects and beyond.
We therefore pray for the entire Royal family and the good people of Ogbomoso for God's fortitude to bare the departure of a great king.
May the gentle soul of His Majesty rest in perfect peace. Erin ṣubu ko le dìde, Oba rere lọ, Alayéluwa o d'arinako o d'oju ala... Sun ré ooo!
