Ayobo area in Lagos State agog as group of broadcasters from every every radio and television stations troops in to celebrate a radio icon Tope Oyeyemi Afolabi also known as Tope Radio as he clocks 50.

Sharing his experience so far in the journey of broadcasting,Tope said " When I look back to give account on how I started, I just have to thank the Almighty God for bringing me this far in the industry, I am so happy celebrating my golden jubilee anniversary while still in the industry I love so much".

The eventful occation which set Ayobo agog was lighted with music supplied by Dugbe International Band also anchored by a professional presenter Afefe Oro.

Gracing the occasion were top radio presenters well known in the industry starting from Abiodun Fagboro, Yomi Mate Ifankaleluya,Yinusa Aremu Ayeniromo, Sholagbade Lawal Amubieya,Hakem Hamzat Obamekunu, Emmanuel Adeyemo Otolorin.

Others are Abiodun Oropo, Laide Gold,Association of Yoruba Media presenters president Olaitan Oladele,

Members of Freelance Independent Broadcasters of Nigeria,members of Yoruba Broadcasters Association and invitees from meaningful sector.

Emphasising how important Tope is, Pastor John Adeyemi, Peniel Metropolitan boss said, the celebrant is a trust worthy man and he has never has any regret ever since he has been packing his company, he also pray for him to live for many more years in sound health.
